Shoveled sand for a
couple of hours, covered the area we wanted. Great
exercise for the back. Supposed to rain tomorrow
which would line us up for renting a tiller on Sunday or
Monday depending on the weather. We want the soil wet
and easy to turn over, the clay is too hard otherwise.
Effie called from up
north to say Ralph had died, 74 years old.
I passed the message
on to Ian via Facebook, as he is not buying another
phone until Sunday at the flea market
I remember a huge
house fire years ago, and he was a volunteer
firefighter, so we followed to watch, always a laid back
I ordered way too
much sand, so we will have to use it up.
Failed with the fried
egg sandwich for breakfast, but nice at the time.
Even when I fail I
make soup, as it signals a return to "being good"
We have recommitted
to the diet until Tuesday, when we go to the Natalie
Cole concert, so we may go to eat before it. I also
usually get a free lunch as its the CAW executive
meeting, but maybe I'll pass on it.
