Losing weight as you
get older is frustratingly slow. You can eat next to
nothing, and it goes up. But I guess if you keep at it
it will fall eventually.
We went to to
Rockwood to check out the location of the wedding on
Saturday. Along the route it was necessary to stop for
the bathroom, and McDonalds being handy, we stopped
there. Next thing you know, we were forced into line and
Millie had a strawberry sundae, and I had some chicken
nuggets and fries.
I have always had the
history of not even thinking about food, then 3 minutes
later, eating it.
We checked the farm
out, I went inside where they had a huge tray of
sandwiches (of which I refused one, looked dry) The
parents are from Newcastle, and her sister was from
Manchester (over for the wedding)
The tent was huge and
in a hollow, so with a heater I may survive.
On the way home, we
stopped at one of the apple farms and bought 2 types of
apples/ I should have tried them before I bought them,
not ripe enough and not sweet enough. They may improve
in a couple of days
Still no internet, so
I am still at the mercy of our neighbours being home.
I'm up to threatening
Rogers that I will be forced to move to bell, but they
are blaming the cable, and because I have a cable
rewiring scheduled on Monday, I'm told to wait till then
